Once more I get the result that Yinformer can not login on yahoo. I guess Yahoo has made further changes...

And there I finally got online with yinformer. Something is weird though as I was not able to login for about 3 hours. I kept restarting the program. And suddenly it now works. I dont know for how long though. We will see.

Sadly, the headache really is back. Only when I try the cs102.msg.ac4.yahoo.com server that Brian gave as an example above was I able to get back in. It seems that some time after midnight your ID that is logged in gets kicked by yahoo and you are not allowed back in. I do not know how the login protocol works, but is it possible that they require a new SSL authorization at that point?

Yahoo Messenger 9 which is the one I use, still remains connected though.

Maybe what is required is an automatic re-connect (and reauthorization) every 3 to 6 hours. I am just guessing here.

Hi!

I noticed some problems in loging in too, but mostly on the 26th, when it get kicked out at 05:20 and back in at 05:50 and the same happened between 11:20and 11:38 (I´m 7 hours ahead of you John). On the 27th it get kicked out at 24:00 and then I stopped trying, but worked fine the following morning. Today I noticed same pb. between 9:20-09:32.
This was all on mcs.mgs. yahoo.com server.
I hope these are just hiccups.
Nice weekend everyone.

Ok. Thank you for looking into it.

I wish I knew more about how all of this works so I could help out. Anything you need, testing, data, graphics, etc. Just let me know if there is anything I can do.

no problems with the log in, but Yinformer still doesn´t show a right scan result. Same as before, packet 1 shows off-line all the time, packet 2 shows on-line all the time.
I agree to your priorities ( family and job first), but please, find some time to get Yinformer to work properly. I am ready to pay for it and spend already much time each day to click on the google things.
Crossing fingers for you and for getting a job, but crossing fingers for us all too, that Yinformer will work ok soon

When you have the time Monika. Contact me on YM as you did today and we can do a teamviewer session where I take a look at your system settings (if that is ok with you. Feel free to look teamviewer up online).

mcs.msg.yahoo.com still works without problems for me, but i always get the troubles a few days later than most of you guys. Last time I noticed some issues was on the 1st, for about half an hour when it could not log in.

It's been 2 weeks now that I have been unable to login. I'm in Europe. Does that make a difference?
