Does anyone know what file on your computer has your friends list in it? I run 2 Yahoo accounts (one for each computer) and would like to copy my friends list and add it to my second account too. If I remember right, you could do that on the old old versions of Yahoo.

Your friends list is actually stored on the Yahoo server side. I want to say there was (or used to be) a program that would do that. However, if that program has not been updated with the changes, it will more than likely not work. I can not remember the name of it though...

Ithink there is a nice workaround for this ;)
Login in in both accounts (use Multimess) and then simply add number 1 account to the number 2 in the lists. Now,rightclick on the ID,and use: "Send My Messenger List" select all contacts, and they will be imported tothe account number 2. :)
This should work just fine.

I have the newest version of Yahoo, and it works, sorta. The only thing it does, or wants to do, is ask everyone for permission to add again. I was hoping to avoid that cause I know I got names of girls on my list that added me, and dont know me. They were names off of CamSeek that I had. And, I'd think chances of getting them to re-add me are slim to none. rolleyes

ahh, I see. I have plans of working on a buddy adder (without them knowing). I had one that worked until Yahoo changed things about a year ago. I have been busy with YInformer and the site and that got pushed back. Hopefully I will get some time in the near future to work (or attempt anyways) on something like that again.
